Well this is some good news! My favorite video game character of all time is going to make his third appearance in the Smash Brothers series.

Ness was my mainstay in both the N64 original and GameCube’s Melee. I was kinda worried that he wasn’t going to be in Brawl, and that he would be replaced with Lucas, Ness’ Mother 3 counterpart. Not that I have anything against Lucas or anything, it’s just that I don’t know anything about him. I never got the opportunity to play Mother 3 as it didn’t get a North American release. I really want to play that game too. I am a huge fan of EarthBound which is known as Mother 2 in Japan. That’s actually why I was all about playing as Ness in the Smash Bros. games. He’s a badass.
It’s good to know that he’s not getting replaced, just hidden.
